Broken Glass

You may put broken bottles into your blue box or wheelie bin (but small pieces in the garbage please). Be sure to put broken pieces in a container or box if you place on the curb.

Other broken glass and ceramic items of all kinds go in the garbage.

Only glass bottles and jars can be recycled in your blue box or wheelie bin or at the convenience depots. Other glass items have different melting points and must be recycled with special processes.

ACCEPTABLE DISPOSAL

This item may be recycled at curbside in your regular recycling program.

This item may be recycled at a drop off location such as a convenience depot or transfer station.

This item may be disposed at curbside in your regular waste collection program.
